Coordinates : 29° 33' 8.08" N 79° 7' 9.47" E Want to enjoy the Jim Corbett's charm at its best then head for the Mohan Range Forest on National Highway 121 i.e. on road to Ranikhet from Ramnagar. Chances are that you can spot wild elephants, antelopes, bears, leopards & if very lucky a tiger. Stay at Kumaun Mandal Vikas Nigam's newly opened tourist lodge about 22 kms from Ramnagar. You can enter Corbett tiger reserve from here by Dhikala Gate (Mid Nov. to Mid June only) for a conducted jungle safari. Or enjoy the river view from the watch tower at the lodge. Head to Garjiya devi temple on a steep natural island in the river. If you are here in summer do not forget to taste the Kalmi mangoes and litchies of Ramnagar.
