I used to buy big sized chocolates from here for my girlfriends in college which was near by. Today also you can get dry fruits, fruits, household groceries, a haircut and big size chocolates.
The typical architectural style of this market makes it a heritage site and its importance lies in the fact that it has been featured on National Geographic Channel. A must visit place in Mumbai for the real essence of the city. And don't forget to buy attars (perfumes), you get some original stuff here. Try the sweets and a vegetarian thali near the market and you can purchase some best stationary items from Abdul Rahman street.
Route : Come to Mumbai V.T. (now C.S.T.) station and walk to Crawford Market.
